Inouye Stumps for Carmona In Arizona

Sen. Daniel Inouye is continuing his efforts to make sure Democrats keep control of the U.S. Senate.

Inouye was in Arizona this week for three events in support of Richard Carmona. Arizona is the ninth state, including Hawaii, that Inouye has visited this cycle in support of Senate Democrats or Democrats running for Senate, according to a spokesman.

The Carmona campaign blasted out the above picture and touted Inouye’s Medal of Honor after he spoke with veterans in Arizona.

“There are 535 legislators in Washington. They’re not perfect, but the one we are looking for is here. The one America needs is Rich Carmona,” Inouye told a crowd of more than 75 at American Legion Post 41 in Phoenix, according to the Carmona campaign.
