Native Hawaiian Healthcare Efforts Get $10M
Healthcare, education and wellness programs for Native Hawaiians will receive $10.7 million, Hawaii’s congressional delegation announced today.
The money is available through five grants from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
These are the organizations receiving funding:
- Hui Malama Ola Na Oiwi — $2.2 million
- Hui No Ke Ola Pono — $3 million
- Ke Ola Mamo — $2.5 million
- Na Puuwai — $1.7 million
- Papa Ola Lokahi — $1.3 million
