Akaka Holding Senate Hearing on Federal Recognition

U.S. Sen. Dan Akaka has announced he’s holding a hearing Thursday to “examine the process of recognizing tribes through the Administrative and Congressional processes.”

The hearing starts at 8:15 a.m. Hawaii time and can be watched here.
