McConnell Sees 50-50 Chance for GOP-led Senate
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Sunday that Republicans “have even odds of winning back the Senate majority in this fall’s elections.”
Excerpt from this article in The Hill:
“There are a number of places where we have opportunities for pick-ups, not many places where we have much chance of losing a seat,” McConnell said on the CNN program “State of the Union.”
“I think at the end of the day we are going to have a very narrow Senate one way or the other,” he added.
States in play include Hawaii, where Ed Case and Mazie Hirono are fighting in the Democratic primary to take on Republican Linda Lingle in the general.
