Labor Group Makes $36K Ad Buy for Hirono

Working Families for Hawaii is shelling out $36,000 on radio ads for Rep. Mazie Hirono’s U.S. Senate race, the progressive Daily Kos reports

According to the Center for Responsive Politics, the labor-backed group spent more than $240,000 to help Rep. Colleen Hanabusa beat Republican Rep. Charles Djou in their race for U.S. House two years ago.
